'So much blood...' Angel thought as she looked at her hands. She felt exhausted and looked like a mess. The combination of this was enough to make one of the doctors put a hand on her shoulder. Neither of them worried too much about how he got a bloodstained hand on her shoulder. It would fit with the rest.

She and Lucy were out walking with Baby, who right now was sitting under a tree and watching some squirrels (Lazuriel had long ago taught her to not go up in the trees. Jackdaw heard Vincent's bike coming in. Hell, they probably heard it from across town too. He watched as the black driver came riding in on her bike. It was an old military bike, and it seemed to be on it's last legs.
